Cell-Life Sites Update

Cell-Life is currently providing technical systems and support to 11 sites across the country with its range of different technologies. The organisation has been growing drastically in sites as well as patient numbers over the past year. With the number of patients increasing on a daily basis, current estimates are in the region of 14,000 individuals who are being monitored through Cell-Life systems.

Below is a breakdown of the sites and provinces in which our systems can be found:

iDART (ARV dispensing software for pharmacies):

  • The Nomzamo Clinic, Masiphumelele (Fish Hoek, Western Cape)
  • The Desmond Tutu HIV Centre, UCT Medical School (Cape Town, Western Cape)
  • The Taung Treatment Centre, Taung District Hospital (Taung, North West Province)
  • The Hillbrow Community Health Centre (Johannesburg, Gauteng)
  • The Galeshewe Day Hospital (Kimberley, Northern Cape)
  • The Tshepong Wellness Centre (Klerksdorp, North West Province)
  • The Hannan Crusaid Centre (Gugulethu, Western Cape) 

CDCT (cellphone data collection tool):

  • Manthe Clinic (Manthe, North West Province)
  • Reagile Clinic (Koster, North West Province)
  • Academy for Educational Development (KZN, EC & MPU)
  • Hannan Crusaid Centre (Gugulethu, Western Cape)

OpenMRS (patient information system):

  • Desmond Tutu HIV Centre (UCT Medical School)

 Cell-Life is constantly looking for new locations in which to implement its technologies as it strives to further its goal of improving the lives of those infected and affected by HIV/Aids.
